About the Author: Laura Dorfer studierte den interdisziplinären M.A. "Medien und Gesellschaft" mit den fachlichen Schwerpunkten Wirtschaftswissenschaft und Medienwissenschaft an der Universität Siegen. Als Forschungsschwerpunkt wählte sie während des Studiums die Internetökonomie sowie die wirtschaftlichen und soziokulturellen Entwicklungen im Social Web. Seit August 2010 arbeitet Laura Dorfer als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl für Betriebwirtschaftslehre insbesondere Medienmanagement von Prof. Dr. Eigler an der Universität Siegen und promoviert zu Strategien und Geschäftsmodellen von Social Networking Sites.
