Dr. Camilly P. Pires de Mello has over ten years' experience in the field of Virology, mainly working with pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, drug discovery, in vitro alternative methods, RNA and DNA viruses, pre-clinical research, cell culture, and bioreactors.
Dr. Viveca Giongo is an associate professor of virology in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Biology at Federal Fluminense University and the Center for Development of Technology in Health at Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Dr. Giongo earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and her master's degree in Immunology at São Paulo University, Brazil. Dr. Giongo´s research focuses on nanobiotechnology, with an emphasis on delivery systems of antiviral molecules. Her research has been published in several journals, including "Vaccine," "Journal of Molecular Biology," "Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry," "Natural Products Communications," "Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology," "International Journal of Pharmaceutical Research," "Chemical Biology & Drug Design," and "Antiviral Therapy."
