About the Book

Subject: Synopsis Cosimia por Ginsberg

A catastrophic earthquake strikes and devastates the small, impoverished small island of Cosimia. International aid pours in, among them an Israeli task force that included an emergency medical contingent with a tent hospital in charge of surgeon ArieBerg.

After a hard full day of surgery, Dr. Berg takes a walk through one of the destroyed streets when he listens a child shouting for help and manages to rescue a boy from the rubble of a collapsed building. A strong bond is formed between them. After finding that both parents perished, Dr Berg adopts Louis with the help of José Aristo, then mayor of Cosimia City.

In Israel, Louis turns out to be a genius. He graduates with honors in the prestigious Technion Institute of Technology. He makes a name for himself in Israeli society due to his multi task capacity and superlative accomplishments. He resolves to visit his birth place and returns to Israel full of emotion and determination to use all his abilities and know-how as well as all his powerful connections in Israel to create and bring back to Cosimia everything that will make it a high tech, superb agricultural and mining power as well as an elite tourist getaway in the Caribbean.

Together with his best friend Berel, he gathers an extraordinary team of professionals to plan, organize and implement a complete revamp of the islands infrastructure, school, communication, electrical and water and sewage systems.

All these activities intrigue the government of nearby Suba. Thinking that some kind of yet unknown riches was discovered in Cosimia, they plan to take over the country and their first step is to kidnap Juancho Aristo, a son of José Aristo, now president of the small island.

After several kidnappings and scenes of success and failure with these intruders, Cosimia starts to develop.

Intrigue occurs, love is found unexpectedly for Louis, his team and, when you least expect it, even in the quasi-successful second kidnapping attempt with an unforeseeable ending.
