The Earth is Really Just One Big Cosmic Garden.
Cosmic Gardens is a collection of poetry and collage illustrations, exploring the seeds we sow and how they grow. Created during the author's time on Maui, this collection explores the wonders of nature, inner peace and reflection, dreams and consciousness, feeling home in a new place, and appreciating the beauty of life and all it has to offer, in a thoughtful yet whimsical narrative.
The author takes inspiration from authors who came before him like Kerouac, Ram Dass, Thoreau, and Lao Tzu, in an attempt to convey these themes of transcendentalism, adventure, enlightenment, curiosity, and finding happiness in the present moment, through a modern and contemporary lens.
By pairing each poem with these collage illustrations, the author hopes to take the reader on a beautiful and vibrant journey of their own, to a bright and whimsical world where the sun is sweet, the days are long, the waves are plentiful, the waterfalls are flowing, the flowers are blooming, and life feels like a dream.
So even if we never, see the shade of trees we've started,
just always keep on planting seeds inside this Cosmic Garden.
