About the Book

Knowingly or unknowingly, we all want to be happy. In all aspects of our lives, the pursuit of happiness is one of our deepest human desires, whether in love, family, business or community. Have you ever wondered how to pinpoint the source of happiness and how to create it for yourself?

What if there were a clear road map to happiness, would you follow it? Creating Happiness outlines a step-by-step approach to create happiness for yourself and those around you by giving you the tools to navigate the maze of life. It presents an entirely fresh look at how you can influence your own destiny and improve your life. Most of us see happiness without really understanding how it is generated, and, therefore, it randomly shows up inconsistently throughout our lives. Those who understand that they are responsible for their own destiny may get a glimpse of happiness now and then, but very few really understand the mechanics behind the process. Whether you're a CEO or at the start of your career, Creating Happiness covers how to create happiness at work, at home and with your loved ones.

A concise and practical guide, Creating Happiness shows us how to easily re-shape the subconscious mind toward a positive attitude. It's a no-nonsense, easily-implemented approach to achieving the ultimate goal ... a happy life.

Born in Acton Vale, QC, Al Dorais has had a 37-year long business career managing hundreds of employees as CEO of successful companies in different industries and multiple countries. His unique approach to management has been recognized for implementing a happiness culture and a sense of family within its people while achieving growth and being recognized regularly as best in class for Product, Service and Management in their regions. Al is now a coach and mentor to entrepreneurs, managers and employees - teaching the same simple no-nonsense methods he used to guide himself throughout his career and that he shares within Creating Happiness.

His consulting company Fun2Work helps people find happiness, both personally and in business. Al and his wife Barbara live in their dream home on the shores of the St-Lawrence River in Montreal, Canada. You can find Al at aldorais@fun2work.com and www.creatinghappiness.ca
