About the Author: Greg Selker has been in the retained executive search and leadership consulting business for over 26 years. A former partner at one of the leading multinational executive search firms, he started his own firm in 2002 to create a qualitatively different approach that delivers value to both clients and candidates in what has become an increasingly transaction-based industry and marketplace. Throughout his career, technology companies have been his focus, including those dealing in software, hardware, services and infrastructure, ranging from venture-backed start-ups to private-equity-owned mid-tier companies, to global multinational companies where he has worked extensively at both the board and executive management levels. He has also taken his knowledge of technology and particularly infrastructure to work with IT organizations and CIOs across multiple industry sectors. Greg has personally completed hundreds of executive searches in his career, including many CEO searches. He has conducted Leadership Development Sessions with more than 50 executives from leading technology, pharmaceutical, professional services and manufacturing companies, moving into executive coaching relationships with numerous CEOs, CIOs, and CFOs. He has co-led trainings given to hundreds of personnel on best-hiring practices and values-based interviewing across the senior leadership teams of many of these same companies, working personally in developing the leadership capacities and potentials of CEOs, CIO', CFOs and their senior leadership teams. He is committed to a world in which every person is fulfilled and enlivened by what they do. His current executive search and leadership consulting activities are focused on realizing this commitment and assisting his clients to both become Leaders of Greatness and build Organizations of Greatness.
