About the Author: ABOUT THE AUTHOR EDWARD GLASSMAN, Ph.D., former president of The Creativity College(R), a division of Leadership Consulting Services, Inc. and Professor Emeritus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (retired), where he founded & headed The Program For Team Effectiveness And Creativity. Guggenheim Fellow and Visiting Professor at Stanford University (1968-69) and a Visiting Fellow at The Center For Creative Leadership in Greensboro, North Carolina (1986). Professor Glassman's biography appeared in "Who's Who In America" and "Who's Who in the World." He was an Educational Consultant for colleges and universities in North Carolina, California, Florida, Virginia, New York, and Canada. Professor Glassman's columns appeared in local newspapers on such topics as: "Business Creativity" and "Creativity at Work." (1990) The Presidents Association of The American Management Association, NY. He received his Ph.D. in 1955 from the Biology Department, the Johns Hopkins University. As a Professor in the University of North Carolina; Chapel Hill, NC, from 1960 to 1989, he published over 100 research articles on biochemistry, genetics, neuroscience, alcohol, teaching, and creativity.
