About the Book

This book consists of four stories.

ALL SAINTS is about a man returns to his hometown after being away for several years. He sees many changes that he has to get used to, and recalls the events of his and the city's past. He reunites with old friends, and learns what the years have done to their lives. And then through some crazy set of circumstances, a benign night of festive celebration somehow ends up with him getting entangled him with some mysterious crazed maniac, as the night morphs itself into an extremely deadly contest of predator and prey.

A CITY OF TWO TALES is about the attempts of some young men to excel in the business world. All of them aspire to fly high off into the skies of commerce. Some are able to soar as high as the sun. While others of them are not even able to get off the ground. Some of them horrifically crash and burn. And in some rare cases, like the Phoenix, some of them are resilient enough, or lucky enough, to be able to rise up out of their own ashes and fly again.

THE COUNTESS is about a young woman, who is extremely beautiful, intelligent, and personable. Having all of these attributes makes her extremely charismatic. And that abundance of charisma allows her to find a piece of turf where she can assume and hold absolute dominance. It is a rather unique piece of turf, as she is the featured dancer in a strip club. Her problem is that there are a lot of other women with the same attributes who seek to take her position. The story is about the competition to desperately hold on to that position.

ANGELA is about a young man who upon seeing a woman for the first time falls everlastingly in love with her. But he's not up to her league, though still he is driven to pursue her. And being a beautiful as she is, there are a lot of other men who desire her. And these are powerful men who can be very dangerous to him, if they sense him as rival. But you what? He doesn't give damn about them or what they can do to him. He just knows that he must have that woman, and he's going after her, no matter what.
