About the Author: Abraham Nissan is a Spanish speaking writer, novelist, screenwriter and movie director, communication professor, programmer and literary creator, exponent of humanist Kabbalah. He was deeply influenced by professor Alfredo Troncoso, who was himself a disciple of Umberto Eco, going deep into Semiotic Theory. His university years were very productive and he produced a great amount of stories, some of which won in international literary contests. Abraham wrote movie scripts for famous directors and his short stories were produced as shorts and feature films. He was awarded as Best Director of University Cinema in Mexico. At the end of his studies he was President of the Student Association at the University. Later, Abraham worked in movie production and film music composition. He is an honorary student of the Writers' School at the Sociedad Mexicana de Escritores. Abraham lived in Venice Beach, California, where he specialized on Cinematography Direction at UCLA. Abraham synthesized his various passions: Cinema, Torah and Kabbalah: literature, semiotics, fiction and poetry. He conjugates Umberto Eco's semiotics allowing him to live a story as if were an open and endless book, a starting creative sprint point . His philosophy was summarized in the sentence "In the beginning God create the sign". Abraham adopted the Global Village and the Internet writing short stories and movie screenplays as "The www man" or the novel "The Internet Council Sages". Currently studies humanist Kabbalah with Rabbi Michael Laitman at Israel's Kabbalah Center. Many of his Works have been prized and awared in international arenas and festivals. Abraham Nissan has been named in 2011 "Master of stories ". After reading the book "The old man and the sea" once again, he moved to an apartment at Kfar Hayam, Sea Village community in the Mediterranean coast in Israel. Since 2010 he writes movie scripts, screenplays and short stories for Hollywood and Israel. Since 2010 he is a columnist in Foro Judio.
