About the Book

Puntitas vive dentro de una bellota en una rama alta del Gran Árbol de Roble. Una mañana, encuentra una nota en el suelo de su casa que dice: "¡Ayuda, ayuda! Abeja ha perdido su zumbido!" Ella y su amigo, Ratón Antón, navegan sobre Rio Caudaloso para ayudar a la abeja. El Señor Cactus, que es gruñón y sumamente espinoso, ha atrapado el zumbido de Abeja en una de sus espinas. Así empieza la aventura que lleva a Puntitas de Pies a la casa de Piña de Pino y Pimientito (que no están en casa todavía), luego navegan rio abajo hacia al mar para desenredar a Pulpo (que es demasiado joven como para contar sus piernas correctamente y siempre se confunde) y finalmente suben hasta llegar a la Montaña Nevada para averiguar con el mismo Jack Escarcha si es un gnomo (Piña de Pino dice que es un gnomo porque hace cristales) o un hada (Puntitas asegura que es un hada porque vuela por el aire). Jack Escarcha cuenta su propio mito de creación que contesta la pregunta de una manera sorprendente y maravillosa.

Los Cuentos de Puntitas de Pies se compone de tres aventuras: 'La Abeja que Perdió su Zumbido', 'Cuervo Calabaza', y 'La Gansa Lucy y el Medio-Huevo'. About the Author: Reg Down creció en Canadá, Namibia, Sudáfrica e Irlanda. Se entrenó como euritmista, un arte de movimiento y gesto, en Inglaterra y Alemania. Es padre de tres hijos y ha enseñado la eurítmia en escuelas Waldorf en Australia, Canadá y los Estados Unidos.
