About the Author: John Hepi is an Author, Poet and Song Writer from New Zealand It was 1995, John's small arborist business wasn't doing well, he was behind on his mortgage, credit card and truck payments and he knew something had to be done. It was here he began to write a new budget, only this time it was going to be different. Ignited with passion he looked at his entire debt as an adversary that had been assigned to destroy his life. John realized if he could change his limiting core beliefs, his whole life would change. It was at this time he created his battle strategy (budget) and a game plan for how and when he was going eradicate each foe (each debt). Family and friends who read John's notes could relate to it and encouraged him to write a book. John decided to enter the world of sales, however, deferring his plans to write the book. Quickly working his way up the ranks to team leader, John was recognized for his skill in developing highly successful sales teams, and understanding the 80/20 rule (80% of sales income came from 20% of the sales team ), John took it one step further and made his own 100/100 rule. He then moved on to the financial industry working for a Global Insurance company. As before, John quickly worked his way up to top Territory Manager and top District Sales Manager, personally developing leading Sales Reps. and Territory Managers, receiving awards, bonus cheques and overseas trips. Having spent 15 years of sales in Security, Finance, Property, Retail and Advertising has not only helped John to master his craft as a Sales and Development Manager but also to further his understanding of sales and marketing and how individuals are lured into debt. In 2013 John decided to share his experience and knowledge in a way that would be engaging to readers by creating a story with characters that encompasses the different aspects of emotions which hold us back from achieving our goals. The Cutting Edge: Fighting Debt, is more than a book about fighting debt - it's a book that will show you how to fight and overcome everyday challenges and inspire you to become the person you desire to be. He currently resides in Perth, Western Australia. His interests include West Coast Swing dancing, DJing, Poetry, Martial Arts and Songwriting.
