For the last ten years, Brad Behle has been driving carpool with his kids. As you might know, this is no easy task. The alarm, rolling out of bed, waking the kids, making breakfast, finding backpacks, doing last second homework, looking for the lost shoe, and jumping in the car, only to become annoyed by other carpooling parents who lack any kind of driving etiquette.
With kids at school, parents at work, and a million different activities in the evening, we're all pressed for quality time together. Brad realized the carpool time could be more than it was and decided to make it a positive experience that would start the day off right. He and his kids began sharing uplifting quotes and funny dad jokes. The kids often rolled their eyes, but it became their daily ritual and something they looked forward to each morning.
As a dad himself, Brad appreciates a good dad joke. He also often likes to share cheesy rhymes. He decided to compile a book of little instructions of things he thought leads to a good life, one that is focused on things that truly matter.
He didn't want to bore his kids (or yours) but rather capture their attention and share in a way that they would listen and remember, so he wrote them out in terrible, yet funny and hopefully meaningful rhymes.
