Als ich Gage Williams das erste Mal traf, mochte ich ihn nicht sehr. Der Grund: er hat meine Designidee in der Luft zerrissen, während ich versucht habe, potenzielle Auftraggeber für die Arbeit an einem Inn von mir zu überzeugen. Ich bin Innenarchitektin. Er ist der Besitzer der Baufirma, die für die Renovierung zuständig ist. Nach ein paar hitzigen Worten zwischen uns hatte er auch noch die Frechheit, mich Miss Perky zu nennen. Grr ... Die Welt braucht positive Menschen!


Als wir uns das zweite Mal trafen, mochte ich ihn immer noch nicht. Keine Zeit für einen unkooperativen Alpha-Mann, wenn ich einen Job zu erledigen habe.


Das dritte Mal war das Mal, als es schnell so richtig bergab ging, also war ich schockiert, als er mir mitteilte, mein nächster Job sei sein Haus und ich würde bei ihm einziehen. Was?! Nur, weil ich derzeit kein Zuhause habe und pleite bin. Ach, verdammt.

Skylar ist das personifizierte Chaos, und ich bringe Ordnung ins Chaos. Besonders wenn eine gewisse Miss Perky unter der Wahnvorstellung leidet, dieser sonnige Optimismus werde den Tag retten. Nö. Das bin ich. Gern geschehen.

Diese romantische Komödie ist eine in sich abgeschlossene Geschichte mit einem Happy End zum Schwärmen! Ohne Cliffhanger.
