Detective Cassandra Wilson and her partner detective Jason Taylor work homicide in the 17th district in South Philly after going through a very hard divorce with her husband detective Lenard Wilson he got hooked on drugs working undercover work he started beating on her she had to fight for life most of the time . Then she have to bring up her daughter Kenya who want to become a cop as well coming from a whole family of cops. Cassandra's father Allen Green was a cop and her brother detective Antione Green aka Cowboy is a cop. Cassandra love to help women in her women in crisis program in South Philly at the Dickson house she wants to do this full time and give up being a cop seeing all the dark side to life in the game. Then her past come back to haunt her life her being raped when she was young bye her mothers boy friend and some of the young girl's she helped on the street who got killed and she thinking she can save everyone. Her partner Jason is a real cowboy ready for action coming from out the marines in Afghanistan he's Vietnamese and he taught Cassandra all the bad words in Vietnamese he have PTSD but he hide it from her he know about her issue but she don't know about his but there both really tight over the five years of working with one another. Cassandra have very bad dreams all the time wild nightmares thinking about her lost love Tony who was killed bye Colombian drug dealers she find out that his brother Al had some thing to do with him getting killed. Cassandra hallucinations seeing ghost from her past after few to many bazar cases the department make her go see a psychologist to keep her job but after that things get crazier.
About the Author: Dartanya Williams was born and raised in South Philly the blue collar working class part of Philadelphia Pennsylvania with his three brothers Dwayne, Big Chilly and Big Boo along with his son Dartanya junior and his mother Catherine the blessing in disguise Dartanya was born into a family of grate story teller like his grandfather Big Al the life of any party or family gathering along with his mother's brothers Big Joe, Albert, Brother Man and Fly Sly he too picked up the gift of gab getting street knowledge life lessons mixed with humor hearing lot of street fables Dartanya started writing short story's getting real serous about it at the age of 12 he also loved drawing cartons as well. Dreaming one day to be come a writer or a famous artist one day still drawing as he when to school getting deeply involved into hip hop scene Dee Jaying to make extra money loving the music and the culture from junior high to high school then going to graphic art school after graduating high school then soon after he landed a job at a large highly successful graphic art house. While working he was building up his skills to pay the bills knowing one day his destiny will be full filled. Bye being a word smith from writing he started spitting hot lyrics and bars about urban injustice, misfortune, misadventure and the joys of living life. Writing stories and working to survive until one day a few of his family members and then his wife Margaret suggested to him he should make his story's into books that was the spark he started working on books pouring out his soul on to paper his life experiences and other peoples long hard journey. The a strange twist of fate Dartanya suffered a accident on the job getting hit bye a car not able to walk for months on end then learning how to walk again turning tragedy into triumph completing eight novels and hundreds of short stories from dark gritty street tails that are thuged out, bugged out, and drugged out odysseys to wild fantasy roller coaster worthy adventures in other worlds to very deep introspective tender novels about relationships new love, lost love in this some time happy and unforgiving metropolis we all live work and play. And throughout it all embarking on his literary journey Dartanya getting the blessing of knowing his purpose.
