About the Book

The author discusses little-known facts about famous atheists, such as the fact that Charles Darwin saw nothing wrong with exterminating blacks and in fact thought that doing so would be simply, "the progress of civilization." The author also shows that Richard Dawkins has repeatedly lied, made illogical arguments, and ignored obvious facts. The most salient example is his claim in his book "The God Delusion" that Hitler was a Catholic while he was dictator of Germany. Every historian who has studied Nazi Germany knows that is poppycock. All the experts today agree that the best biography of Hitler is the massive two-volume work written by a history professor named Ian Kershaw, and if one reads that book, as Dawkins could have, one can see that Hitler, in adulthood, had no religious life whatever. He never attended church services, he never went to confession, and he repeatedly jumped into bed with Eva Braun without marrying her first. In 1930, the Vatican's official newspaper declared in a front-page editorial that Catholics were not allowed to belong to the Nazi Party, so if Hitler was a Catholic, why did he not quit the Nazi Party after that statement was issued? The answer is obvious: because Hitler was not a Catholic. But apparently Dawkins has no desire to think logically about the question. Based on trivial evidence, he declares Hitler must have been a Catholic, then he changes the subject. The simple fact that the four greatest mass murderers of the 20th century, Hitler, Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot, were all atheists, is something that Dawkins refuses to acknowledge, let alone discuss. Apparently he thinks it is just a coincidence. Also in his book "The God Delusion," Dawkins says the Bible says blacks are inferior to whites. That is a barefaced lie. Nothing in the Bible says that. Dawkins doesn't state the book, chapter and verse that says that, because he can't. There is none. The author discusses many other examples of lies and bizarre statements by Dawkins and other famous atheists, such as Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, Steven Pinker, Steven Weinberg, Alex Rosenberg, Carl Sagan, and Edward O. Wilson. Perhaps the most outrageous of these is the claim, by Alex Rosenberg, a philosophy professor at Duke University, that "morality" is a meaningless word and that it is silly to spend one's time thinking about it. Rosenberg insists that even the worst criminals in history have done nothing immoral, because the word "immoral" doesn't mean anything. He apparently assumes that preaching this message won't raise the crime rate, but he never presents any evidence to support that assumption. Similarly, Edward O. Wilson, a famous biology professor at Harvard, has declared that morality is just whatever most people say it is, that there are no eternal moral truths, and that people have the right to change the rules of morality whenever they feel like it. Apparently Wilson thinks that if most people on Earth want to exterminate the Jews or any other group, then that is morality and one should just go along with it. There is also a chapter in the book that shows, with overwhelming evidence, that Christians have a better moral record than atheists do.
