La tentazione, alla fine della godibile lettura di questo testo teatrale di Angela Ada Mantella, è di rileggerlo, con lo scopo di gustarne i dialoghi immaginandoli sulla scena.
Pensare ai volti degli attori e delle attrici, ai loro abiti, alla loro voce, alla mimica delle loro espressioni e dei gesti, collocandoli in un luogo che racchiude una piccola comunità, mondi pulviscolari preziosi e lontani dagli urti del traffico convulso e distonico della città, un luogo che rivela in segno ogni rumore invece perduto nella calca dei suoni ormai anonimi dei grandi centri urbani.
Qui, in un "paese" immaginario, sorge un caso umano che fa da esegesi dei casi umani con i quali giunge in contatto. Il movimento delle voci si modella in una nuova lettura delle inquietudini e dei desideri attraverso le parole dell'atto rappresentativo: il teatro che salva dalla vita.
Ma quel che più rende affascinante questo testo - che mi ricorda, nello stile e nel sostrato essenziale, alcuni racconti di Carver - è l'assenza di una ricerca di finalità [...]
Per questa ragione, una prefazione a questo piacevole testo di Angela Ada Mantella non può che seguire quello stesso modello di malinconico divertimento ed escludere ogni ambizione di estrarne una morale.
È una parodia che tenta di dare fondamento al teatro?
Certo, può anche essere letto così.
Ma sarebbe riduttivo.
Al fondo, "Il Daumaturgo" è un appello al silenzio perché è fin troppo evidente l'ingenua, goffa, grottesca parola quotidiana per poter essere fine esistenziale, per poter attingere a una verità che non sia destinata a consumare se stessa nella scia di un tempo senza scopo.
Questo è quanto, con sapiente costruzione, ci mostra la prolifica drammaturga.
Appare, la parola, come un paesaggio silente.
Possiede i colori della vita.
Ma per un attimo.
Come nelle tele dell'artista contemporanea Maria Casalanguida che campeggiano nel testo.
A rammentare come ogni microcosmo sia solo un punto di vista fugace.
