Die Grundidee dieses Buches ist, dass wir Gott erschaffen und nicht er uns. Jeder Mensch besitzt eine Seele und diese Seele ist eine Quelle von Energie. Wenn nun ein Mensch an etwas glaubt, dann löst sich ein Teil dieser Energie und haucht dem Bildnis seines Glaubens Leben ein. So wird ein beliebiger Gott oder sonstige paranormale Erscheinung erst ins Leben gerufen und nur dank seiner Anhänger bleibt er überhaupt überlebensfähig. Martin, der Protagonist der Geschichte, kommt diesem Phänomen auf die Spur. Durch einen Zufall kommt er mit seiner Seele in Kontakt und macht sich anschließend daran dieses Phänomen zu verstehen. Er entschlüsselt das Rätsel und versucht mit diesem Wissen einen neuen Glauben zu gründen. Den reinen Glauben. Aber Martins Vorstöße bleiben von den bereits existierenden Kräften nicht unbemerkt. Es dauert nicht lange und Martin wird von Engeln und Dämonen aufs Korn genommen. Um nicht zum bloßen Spielball dieser Kräfte zu werden entschließt sich Martin zusammen mit seinen Freunden ihre eigene Ansammlung von Energien zu erzeugen. Ihre eigene Form eines Gottes. Obwohl sich der Konflikt zwischen Martin und Dämonen recht schnell löst, ist das Problem mit den Engeln nicht so leicht beseitigt. Das Problem liegt in der Natur des Glaubens. Da die Menschen glauben, dass Dämonen opportunistisch und Engel rechtsschaffend sind können die Engel nicht so leicht aufgeben. Die Engel werden zwar von einem allwissenden Gott geschickt, aber sie wissen nicht wie sie mit Martin umgehen sollen. Gott ist schließlich dank seiner Anhänger entstanden und auch wenn diese an Allwissenheit glauben, so kann ihr Verstand dieser Idee keine Form geben und Gott diese Eigenschaft nicht besitzen. Aus diesem Dilemma heraus wird Martin als ein Feind Gottes betrachtet und es kommt zu einem Kampf zwischen eine Gesandten Gottes und Martin. Martin gewinnt diesen Kampf um Leben und Tod nur knapp.
About the Author: Tobias Meyer wurde am 5. Oktober 1991 in Heppenheim geboren. 2009 verbrachte er ein Schuljahr in Amerika. Dort begann er sein erstes Buch zu schreiben.
