About the Author: This anthology contains an author appendix at the end of it complete with author bios on all of the participating authors. The members of this anthology are know as the Detours Crew and have worked as a unit to support one another throughout this journey and continue to do so. The majority of these short stories in the anthology are so emotionally written because they come from the lives of the authors themselves. The idea to create Detours In Our Destinations came from the mind of Author Jennifer L. Roche who owns the company Rainbows of Happiness LLC. After the loss of three of her own babies, Jennifer created her company in memory of her daughter Regan, when a double rainbow appeared before her home. Writing has been the catalyst to help Jennifer maintain a positive outlook on life. She hope the creation of this anthology will prove to help many families dealing with grief over losses. Jennifer believes this anthology will help create an eternal legacy for all those babies and children watching over us and give them a voice. Jennifer is a Best-Selling Amazon Author with her book Healing Ties Book One in the Ties Series, has received numerous award nominations for Healing Ties including being a contender for the Diamond Reviewer Award this year. She is also a member of The Sisterhood through Metamorph Publishing where she is part of the Gems Anthology Series. Terrie Meerschaet is the co-publisher and editor of this anthology. She has an extensive background in the world of poetry and short stories having participated in multiple anthologies prior to Detours In Our Destinations. She brought to this anthology a wealth of knowledge when it came to formatting and editing covers, and ease of using computer programs. She has recently released her Thesaurus Erotica book in July of 2016. Prior to that she has written emotionally poignant poetry books.
