Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Medien / Kommunikation - Film und Fernsehen, Note: 2,0, Universität Regensburg (Intitut für Medien-, Informations- und Kulturwissenschaft), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Während das Farbfernsehen ab 1967 mit drei öffentlich-rechtlichen Programmen noch zu den Luxusgütern der betuchteren Bevölkerungsschicht zählte, buhlen seit Beginn des dualen Rundfunksystems in den 80ern auch die privaten Sender um das Wohlwollen der breiten Masse. Über 30 frei zugängliche Programme sind dabei aber nicht mehr der alleinige Grund für die Vielzahl an neuen Formaten und Standards, die die heutige Fernsehlandschaft prägen. Im neuen Jahrtausend muss sich das Fernsehen auch mit den Möglichkeiten des Internets messen und zudem der mobilen Handy-Generation Rechnung tragen. Die damit einhergehende Integration televisueller Inhalte ins World Wide Web und den Mobilfunk erfordert deswegen auch neue Konzepte und eine zeitgemäße Ausrichtung des Fernsehens. Insofern stellt sich die Frage, was sich in den vergangenen zehn Jahren wirklich geändert hat und wo das Fernsehen heute steht. Diese Arbeit untersucht deshalb jene Faktoren, die grundsätzlich die Programmplanung der Sender beeinflussen, sowie im Anschluss die programmatischen Veränderungen, denen das Fernsehen während des letzten Jahrzehntes unterlag. Zudem sollen die veränderten rezeptionstechnischen Konsequenzen deutlich werden, die aus dem intermedialen Verhältnis von Internet und Fernsehen heute hervorgehen. Methodisch gesehen wird der erste Teil dieser Arbeit zunächst einen Überblick ge-ben, unter welchen Prämissen ein Programm üblicherweise zu Stande kommt. Im zweiten Teil wird der bis dahin vorwiegend theoretische Überblick anhand der tat-sächlichen Programmentwicklung von 1998 bis 2008, analytisch in Augenschein genommen. Im letzten Teil soll - mit Hilfe von Marshall McLuhans Gedankengut - schließlich auch die intermediale Umgebung betrachtet werden, neben und mit der sich das Fernseh
