Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2018 im Fachbereich Lernmaterialien - Mathematik, Note: 1,0, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Digitale Medien sind bereits Teil der kindlichen Alltagskultur und auch in vielen Bereichen der Arbeitswelt spielt die Digitalisierung eine große Rolle. Bei der bildungspolitischen Debatte darüber, wird diskutiert, welchen Mehrwert diese technischen Möglichkeiten für das Unterrichtsgeschehen mit sich bringen und wie den Schülern ein verantwortungsvoller und kompetenter Umgang damit vermittelt werden kann. Die Hausarbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Frage, ob der Einsatz dieses Internetportals zur eigenständigen Wiederholung des Grundwissens in einer fünften Jahrgangsstufe geeignet ist. Dabei werden Planung und Durchführung des Unterrichts beleuchtet und unter Miteinbeziehung einer Lernerfolgskontrolle am Anfang und Ende des Unterrichtsabschnitts analysiert. Die Analyse erfolgt auf Basis der Unterrichtsbeobachtung und aktueller Literatur zum Thema Lernplattformen im Mathematikunterricht. Auffällig beim Studium von Forschungsergebnissen sind widersprüchliche Aussagen zur Wirksamkeit bezüglich des Einsatzes einer Lernplattform wie Mebis. Auf der einen Seite stehen z.B. der vielzitierte Hirnforscher Prof. Dr. Spitzer (digitale Demenz) sowie Hattie mit seiner Studie zu Einflussgrößen und Effekte in Bezug auf den Lernerfolg. Während Spitzer sogar von negativen Auswirkungen bei der Benutzung digitaler Medien spricht, bescheinigt Hattie dem rein webbasierten Lernen eine unterdurchschnittliche Effektstärke. Diese paradoxe Ansammlung von Thesen sollen durch den praktischen Einsatz von Mebis im Mathematikunterricht der Klasse 5 der W.S.-Realschule R. reflektiert werden, um die Frage nach dem Wert von Mebis als Mittel zur Grundwissenswiederholung einer 5. Klasse zu beantworten.
