About the Book

Based on a true story, 'The Dirt Merchants' is a powerful coming of age story set in the world of the most extreme form of sales. The main character, Spencer Corales, a troubled suburban teenager, comes to a cross roads and speedily heads down a path where he unknowingly gets flung into a fascinating world of achievement, goal setting and intense motivation. 'The Dirt Merchants' has similar appeal as 'Wall Street, ' with Charlie Sheen, 'Wolf of Wall Street, ' with Leonardo DiCaprio, 'Glenn Gary Glenn Ross, ' with Al Pacino and 'Boiler Room, ' with Vin Diesel and Giovanni Ribisi, but with even grittier and younger characters, teenagers and young men in their early twenties, running an electrifying company. The combination of the youth of its protagonist and the fact that it is set in the early eighties on the streets of New York and New Jersey adds to the grit and in your face nature of the story. The reader experiences powerful and honest dialogue and is spared the distraction of cell phones, texting, email and social media. 'The Dirt Merchants' has the appeal of these blockbuster films, but at the same time does something that the others do not. In a similar manner as the most famous of all novelist/philosophers Ayn Rand constructed Atlas Shrugged and Fountainhead, intertwining her Objectivism philosophy, Henning Morales melds potent success and achievement principles into this compelling story. A steady flow of success strategies and achievement philosophies are mixed into the gripping narrative. This is done in an extremely youthful hip manner in an attempt to get through to the younger audience while keeping the more mature reader on the edge of his ad her seat. The author encourages young people of today to take a break from vampires, zombies and video games and to get real and experience a real story of real achievement in a page turning adventure. Peek into a time not so long ago when a kid's voice was his and her only communication tool. The Author also challenges inspiration seekers of all ages to take a trip back to their youth and gain further success distinctions from a seventeen year old master. Soon to be a major motion picture.
