Kommunikation, Note: 1,3 (sehr gut), Universität Passau (Lehrstuhl für Deutsche Sprachwissenschaften), Veranstaltung: Medien und Kommunikation (Interdisziplinär: Kommunikations- und Sprachwissenschaften), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Kaum eine Fernsehsendung ist aus politischer Sicht so relevant und populär, wie das TV-Duell, das als Höhepunkt eines Wahlkampfs angesehen wird und kurz vor den Wahlen zwischen den Kanzlerkandidaten stattfindet.In den USA kämpfen die beiden Präsidentschaftskandidaten, in Deutschland die Kanzlerkandidaten um die Sympathie der potenziellen Wähler. Die politische Relevanz dieser mit Abstand umfangreichsten und spannendsten Wahlwerbung wird von Kommunikationswissenschaftlern besonders hoch eingeschätzt. Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der diskursanalytischen Untersuchung der deutschen TV-Duelle am Beispiel des TV-Duells zwischen Steinmeier und Merkel an der Grenze zu der Sprach- und Kommunikationswissenschaft, und analysiert die Feststellungen der Nachwuchswissenschaftlerin mit Hilfe von Textausschnitten bzw. etablierter Wissenschaftler wie Searle, Austin etc. Dem TV-Duell wird ein eigens entwickeltes Kommunikationsmodell zugrunde gelegt. Außerdem werden die Intentionen, die Argumentationsstile und die Kommunikationsstrategien der einzelnen Akteure ausführlich analysiert. Bei der Analyse findet auch die in der Sprechakttheorie oft vernachlässigte Wirkung eine große Beachtung. Die nonverbalen Kommunikation wird bei der Untersuchung der Wirkung in der hiesigen Forschungslandschaft häufig missachtet, umso stärker wird ihre Relevanz in dieser Abschlussarbeit betont. Über die Intention und Wirkung hinaus findet eine ausführliche Analyse der im Duell diskutierten Themen statt. Auch die Faktoren, mit deren Hilfe die Themen ausgewählt wurden, werden erörtert. Auf die Interviewführung der Moderatoren, die hierarchischen Verhältnisse im Gespräch
