About the Author: Neiva, Huila, 1969. Social Communicator and Journalist. Master of Arts in Culture Studies, mention of Hispano-American Literature, Simón Bolívar Andean University of Quito. Full-time professor at the University of Cartagena, Colombia. He has won the poetry competitions Organización Casa de Poesía, 1996; José Eustasio Rivera, 1997 and 1999; Contests Departmental of the Ministry of Culture, 1998; Euclides Jaramillo Arango, University of Quindío, 2000; Second Prize National Poetry Contest City of Chiquinquirá, 2000; National Poetry Competition Universidad de Antioquia, 2001; Third Place in the Literary International Competition of Outono, Brazil. First Prize IX National Biennial of Novel José Eustasio Rivera. First Place in the National Prize of Poetry Technological University of Bolivar, Cartagena, 2005. Winner of an artistic residency of the Group of the three of the Ministry of Culture, Colombia, and the Foncas, of Mexico, with his project: "Parallels of the invisible: Chichen Itza-San Agustín. " Winner of the Poetry Contest of the Institute of Heritage and Culture of Cartagena (IPCC), 2013. Winner of the Humberto Tafur Charry Story Contest, 2013. Winner of the International Literature Prize "David Mejía Velilla", University of La Sabana, 2014, Bogotá, Colombia. Finalist in several poetry and short story contests in Colombia, Spain, Argentina and Mexico.
