Gilles Tibo has written and illustrated more than a hundred children's books. He is a two-time winner of the Governor General's Award and the Mr. Christie's Book Award, and a two-time nominee for the Hans Christian Andersen Prize. He lives in Montreal, Quebec.
Genei ve Despr s completed a degree in Industrial Design at the Universit de Montr al in 1992, but, around 1997, she decided to pursue her first passion: drawing. She turned to illustration, completing a number of contracts in the fields of educational publishing, advertising, editorial, and children's literature.
