Some wars are waged eternal. His mind corrupted and twisted, as Mordreth has dealt with suffering, fear and death... Velkin Viarn, Mordreth's older brother, has experienced a completely different side of Andaral. He has been positioned as Lord Velkin, the highest ranking Paladin in the city of Damonar, devoted entirely to the cause of Roshar, the Lightbringer. As their story begins to unravel they are moved towards their eventually confrontation and for one of them, their demise. The path each of them takes to this encounter is filled with a strange sequence of events that begin to unfold in unison leaving each of them to question both themselves, their companions, and their own loyalties. Each brother is forced to accept the fact that despite their own beliefs. The actions of others are often defined by circumstance... and there is no such thing as good or evil.
About the Author: A Mcmanemy is a 33 year old author living in Ontario, Canada with his three children and his fiancee Kelly. Much of his experience with this genre comes from playing MMOrpg's as well as reading various other authors such as R. A Salvatore and Brent Wreeks. He is a Support Worker by trade but lives inside his own mind much of the time creating and thinking of stories such as these. He aspires to be a full time author one day and would love to spend more of his time with his loving family.
