About the Book

About the Author: Evan T. Carthen is the youngest child to Tracy P. Carthen and Twillea D. Evans-Carthen, twin brother to Eric P. Carthen and baby brother to Megan D. Carthen Jackson. Evan grew up in a loving family environment in the city of Highland, California and worshipped at Life Changing Ministries, San Bernardino, California under Dr. Reginald Woods, Senior Pastor. Evan learned at an early age it is okay to be human and in touch with feelings to manage self-control, love, joy, peace and happiness through sickness and in health. Evan continued to be a scholar and athlete beyond graduating in 2012 with highest honors from Arrowhead Christian Academy (ACA), Redlands, California in which he shared the stage with his twin Brother Eric in delivering a speech to his graduating classmates in addition to sharing co-Sir Knight one month prior to graduating from ACA with his twin brother in the Social Lites, Inc. Beautillion program. Evan continued his education at California Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks, California graduating with his twin brother Eric as an accomplished scholar on May 14, 2016 with dual degrees in English and Political Science while serving as Student Body President and respected in this role as "Mr. President" that the Associated Student California Lutheran University Government (ASCLUG) suite was dedicated to him. Evan continued his education at Pepperdine University School of Law in which he continues to be recognized through an award named after him "The Evan T. Carthen Inspirational Leadership Award."
