About the Book

'Your friend was black from the day she was born and she has never changed. She has no redeeming features. She has not one single drop of light in her soul. Where she goes, the darkness follows. As she moves on through time, as she collects more and more souls and subjects them to the ravages of Hell, she becomes more powerful and, one day, she might even challenge the Devil himself for his throne. She is so full of hate, of despair, of contempt and confusion, cruelty and corruption that, if she survives long enough, she might just be the end of the world.' So begins another adventure for Charlie Makepiece, Arnold Layne and Snort Laughter, only this time, what was once a traffic violation becomes a fight to save their souls and the souls of those they love.
About the Author: Chris Bradbury was born in 1962. He attended schools in Bracknell, Windsor, Mauritius and Bloxham and, despite all these, failed to learn a thing. He spent his formative years in a cocoon and failed to see the time go by. When he woke up, he realised that it was too late. He has been a shop worker, a hospital porter, worked in medical records, in the CSSD department, as an estate agent, as a nurse, as a delivery driver, a bus driver and as a teaching assistant. He lives in Yorkshire. He is married to a lady and has some lady children. He loves them. He has always wanted to write or act or do something that brings him praise and attention. Sadly, he has always been average. He is also the author of: The Stilling of the Heart Earthbound Shorts Condition of Life - The Poetic Confessions of a Grumpy Old Man The Ghost of Dormy Place and Other Tales The High Commissioner's Wife Looking For the Light The Ashes of an Oak A Kind and Gentle Man Acceptable Behaviour (Poetry) Praxis (Sci-Fi Fantasy - with Ian Makinson) Praxis - Part Two: Regeneration Paradox (Sci-Fi Fantasy - with Ian Makinson) Praxis - Part 3 The Liar's truth - (Sci-Fi Fantasy - with Ian Makinson) Chine (Horror) Uncomfortably Numb (Play) A Beginner's Guide to the Wars of the Roses A Beginner's Guide to Creative Writing Artography
