These proceedings represent the work of contributors to the 17th European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ECIE 2022), hosted by Neapolis University, Pafos, Cyprus on 15-16 September 2022. The Conference Co-Chairs are Rector, Professor Pantelis Sklias at the Neapolis University Pafos and Assistant Professor Nikolaos Apostolopoulos at the University of Peloponnese and Research Fellow at the Neapolis University Pafos.
ECIE is now a well-established event on the academic research calendar and now in its 17th year the key aim remains the opportunity for participants to share ideas and meet the people who hold them. The scope of papers will ensure an interesting two days. The subjects covered illustrate the wide range of topics that fall into this important and ever-growing area of research.
The opening keynote presentation is given by Professor Paul Jones, Swansea University, UK speaking on "Entrepreneurial Behaviour and Small Business Management: Post pandemic perspectives". There is an afternoon keynote by Professor Robert Newbery, Northumbria University, UK talking about "Reconstructing the Entrepreneurial Landscape". The second day of the conference will open with an address from Professor Panagiotis Liargovas, University of Peloponnese, Greece on the topic of "Green Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development in the Post Pandemic Era: The Case of Greece" and a final keynote will be delivered by Professor Artur Steiner, Glasgow Caledonian University, UK with the title "Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Social Purpose: Learning from research, policy and practice".
With an initial submission of 208 abstracts, after the double blind, peer review process there are 76 Academic research papers, 5 PhD research papers, 3 Masters Research papers and 7 work-in-progress papers published in these Conference Proceedings.
