Zumindest geht die Mehrheit davon aus. Schließlich besucht in Deutschland jedes Kind die Schule. Und dort lernt man ja genau das: Neben Schreiben und Rechnen eben auch Lesen. Wenn mit Lesen gemeint ist, dass fast jeder im Stande ist, einen Text vorzulesen, dann mag das stimmen. Aber unter Lesekompetenz versteht man deutlich mehr als nur das. So gehören zur Lesekompetenz, welche auf der Realschule erreicht werden soll, Fähigkeiten wie "Informationen zielgerichtet entnehmen, ordnen, vergleichen, prüfen und ergänzen" oder etwa "Intention(en) eines Textes erkennen, insbesondere Zusammenhang zwischen Autorintention(en), Textmerkmalen, Leseerwartungen und Wirkungen" (Helmke et al., 2013, S. 6). Zu Arbeitstechniken des Lesens auf der Realschule gehören auch produktive Techniken wie die Zusammenfassung von Texten und die Wiedergabe von Inhalten. (Helmke et al., 2013) Das sind sehr komplexe Kompetenzen, die nicht einfach mit der Alphabetisierung abgehakt sind. Das Lesen und Verstehen von Texten sowie deren Wiedergabe mit eigenen Worten in schriftlicher Form ist eine komplexe Anforderung, die ein Schüler, der gerade auf die weiterführende Schule kommt, in der Regel nicht ohne Weiteres beherrschen kann. Erschwert wird dies noch, wenn nicht literarische Texte sondern Sachtexte zusammengefasst werden sollen. Diese Hausarbeit verknüpft die Notwendigkeit, Schülern der siebten Klasse der Realschule die Kompetenz, Sachtexte zusammenfassen zu können, mit der Möglichkeit, ein Lernszenario zu entwickeln, das auf dem four‐component instructional design model (4C/ID) basiert, welches 1997 von Jeroen van Merriënboer entwickelt wurde.
