Der zweite Band von "Einigkeit, Unrecht und Freiheit" erzählt Franz Frickers Lebensgeschichte zwischen 1918 und 1945.
About the Author: Hinter dem Pseudonym Franz Fricker verbirgt sich der Geschichtslehrer Frank Heckelsmüller, der in seiner historisch-biografischen Romanreihe "Einigkeit, Unrecht und Freiheit" das Leben seines Großvaters aus dessen Perspektive nachzeichnet und mit den großen Linien deutscher Geschichte im 20. Jahrhundert verknüpft. Frank Heckelsmüller bezeichnet sich im Vorwort zu Band 1 als "helfende Hand", die auf der Grundlage von Briefen, Dokumenten, Fotografien und Tagebuchaufzeichnungen "hier und da mithilfe erzählerischer Freiheit" die bewegte Lebensgeschichte von Franz Fricker aufgeschrieben habe. "Eine helfende Hand kann aber nicht in Anspruch nehmen, Autor dieser Geschichte zu sein. Der Autor dieser Geschichte ist derjenige, der dieses Leben gelebt hat: Franz Fricker."
