SINOPSIS:

El protagonista, un maestro de Madrid, comete el error involuntario de acostarse con la amante de un importante jerarca del Franquismo, y tras recibir varias palizas y amenazas directas por parte de la policía secreta, decide poner tierra de por medio pidiendo el traslado a la escuela rural de una aldea perdida en la provincia de Zamora.
Cree que la soledad y la lejanía actuarán como bálsamo de olvido para los que le persiguen y, también, como penitencia propia. Pero se equivoca.Lo que esta novela contiene son espejismos de amor desacompasado sin coordinación ni equilibrio, sexo desaforado, torpe y peligroso, historias de maquis y guardias civiles, fuerzas vivas que pueden traer la muerte, cuernos tal como se entendían a mitad del siglo XX y todo el agobio opresivo que puede caber en el interior de un agujero verde sin apenas vías de escape.

EL AUTOR:

Benjamín Pulido Navas nació castellano en Talavera de la Reina en 1970.Aunque ha ganado algún concurso literario, como el XIX Certamen de Relatos Breves "Tierra de Monegros" con el cuento "Mencey." Pulido se define a sí mismo como un subcampeón, pues el resto de sus "gestas literarias" han sido en forma de accésit, como el que obtuvo en el XLVI Concurso Internacional de Cuentos "Miguel de Unamuno" de Salamanca por el relato "El hombre deshidratado."Ha publicado cuentos en revistas como "Hermes," de Toledo (1997-98) y "El Cobaya," de Ávila (2005).

También colaboró en la sección de opinión en Eldiario.es, edición de Castilla-La Mancha.Licenciado en Ciencias Políticas y Sociología, y en Geografía e Historia, "El agujero verde" es la primera novela que publica.
