From the city of Saint Petersburg prior to the Revolution, as in a theater of astonishment, we become witnesses to her complex relationship with the creators of her time and, above all, with the most recognized poet of her generation, Nicolai Gumilyov, her first husband, murdered in 1921, in one of the first mass innocent trials planned by Lenin and which would become recurrent in the years of the Stalinist terror.
