About the Book

A pilot makes an emergency landing in the middle of the Sahara. With his plane damaged and water for no more than eight days, he finds himself in the middle of the desert as lonely and isolated as he has always felt. Repairing the engine is life or death. Or so she believes until the next day, when she wakes up before a little prince who demands that she draw him a sheep, so that he can take her to live in an asteroid along with her beloved rose and her three volcanoes. What does it matter if he is lost in the desert, if suddenly all the stars go out because a sheep has eaten a flower? What does it matter if a traveling little prince needs a friend?

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (Lyon, 1900 - Mediterranean Sea, 1944), was a famous French aviator and writer, best known for his youth classic The Little Prince. His first story was released in 1926, the very year in which he began his career as a pilot, disciplines that he would eventually combine in the highly successful books: Correo del sur (1928), Flight at night (1931) and Tierra de men (1939). After the start of the Second Great War and when his homeland of origin fell under German rule, he settled in New York, where he wrote the controversial War Pilot (1942) and The Little Prince (1943), a children's story.
