Innerhalb der gesamten Energieversorgung kommt der elektrischen Rnergie be- sondere Bedeutung zu. Dies ist begrtindet in den hervorragend n spezifischen Merkmalen dieser Energieart, wie masseloser Energietransport, Umsetzbarkeit in jede Art von Nutzenergie und optimal mogliche Anpassung an die Forde- rung der Verbrauchersysteme. Dartiberhinaus steht elektrische Energie wegen der hohen Verluste, der Schadstoffemission und des Einsatzes von Nuklearener- gie bei der Erzeugung hinsichtlich der zuktinftigen Bedarfsentwicklung im Vor- dergrund der energiepolitischen Diskussion. Der Verbraucher fordert eine sichere, ausreichende, preisgtinstige und um- weltfreundliche Stromversorgung. Die stromerzeugenden Unternehmen fUgen dem noch das Verlangen nach wirtschaftlichem Anlagenaufbau und -betrieb und opti- mal em Maschinenschutz hinzu. Diese Forderungen betreffen im Kraftwerk so- wohl den elektrotechnischen als auch den maschinenbaulichen Teil. Seit 1969 lese ich im Rahmen der Lehrveranstaltungen meines Lehrstuhls und Laboratoriums fUr Energiewirtschaft und Kraftwerkstechnik der Technischen Universitat Mtinchen tiber elektrische Kraftwerkstechnik. Dem Erarbeiten der Vor- lesungskonzeption liegt eine Themenabgrenzung und Aufgabenteilung zugrunde, die auf dem neuen Studienplan im Fachbereich Elektrotechnik aufbaut. Dabei galt es, den Gesamtkomplex, aufbauend auf den in anderen Vorlesungen ermit- telten theoretischen Grundlagen, moglichst anwendungsorientiert darzubieten und das Verstandnis fUr das Zusammenwirken der einzelnen Komponenten und Untersysteme zu wecken. Schwerpunkte einer elektrischen Kraftwerkstechnik sind naturgemafl der Generator, der Blocktransformator, die Eigenbedarfsanlage, die Schutzeinrichtun- gen und die Steuer-und Regelanlagen. Bei der Behandlung der damit verbundenen Probleme wird es vielfach notwendig, auch maschinenbauliche Belange mit anzu- sprechen. Eine eindeutige Abgrenzung zwischen elektrischer und maschinenbauli- cher Kraftwerkstechnik laflt sich jedoch nicht ziehen.
