About the Author: Mr. Davis has over 30 years experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Sup-ply Chain and Marketing. Extensive experience in China, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Created and managed manufacturing facilities and distribu-tion locations throughout Asia. Marketed and sold electronic products and services in over 17 different countries. Companies call Mr. Davis when they need to develop strategies in emerging markets, creating manufacturing supply chains and to develop global busi-ness strategies. He offers an unique combination of Engineering Manage-ment, Law, International Business and Strategic Planning. Mr. Davis has worked with some of the leaders in the Manufacturing industry. Highlights of his career include: Appointed as a Washington State Trade Representative (2008) and assisted with the development and implementation of international trade, goodwill, and diplomatic efforts in coop-eration with the office of Lieutenant Governor for the State of Washington. Appointed by the Washington State Governor to serve on the Global Competitiveness Council. The council was convened by the Governor to identify ways to enhance Washington's competitiveness in the world marketplace and to help frame the future for Washington. Patent submitted in 2010 related to lasers and their portable applications. Awarded the "Marco Polo" award in 2005 for global success in International business. In 2005 (revised in 2013) authored "The Entrepreneur in Asia" a must-read guide for anyone wanting to expand into the international marketplace. In 2008 - 2010 Mr. Davis held the position of USA Representative of ISPAT, the Investment & Sup-port Agency of Turkey, that reported directly to the Prime Minister of Turkey.
