About the Book

The Epiq Racism Club is based on the true story of a college educated African American man (Richard), who goes to work at a bankruptcy and legal services firm, and falls victim to the racists and the modern-day slave masters of Corporate America. The book follows Richard's journey into the New York offices of Epiq, and uncovers the true emotions and feelings of the employees, supervisors, and managers, who do not respect an employee pursuant to their job skills, academic qualifications, or their work experience, but by the color of their skin. The Epiq Racism Club also exposes the fictitious concept of "College educated black men being treated differently or having more opportunity than black men, who dropped out of high school or went to jail." This book illustrates the two years of discrimination that a black college graduate had to endure as he was called a Slave, a Monkey, a Gorilla, and a Big Black Scary Man. Therefore, proving that Corporate America is still part of the America that believes that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 doesn't exist. And whether you are a black man, who dropped out of high school and went to jail or you are a black man that graduated college and works in Corporate America - you are still viewed as a lower-class citizen in The United States of America in the 21st century.
