Da sich in der VR China einer der Wachstumsmärkte der Weltwirtschaft befindet, haben viele Unternehmen ihr Engagement auf dem chinesischen Binnenmarkt intensiviert. Dabei werden sie mit der Frage konfrontiert, wie sie auf diesem lukrativen, aber schwer zu bearbeitenden Markt erfolgreich tätig sein können. Um hier zu einer wissenschaftlich fundierten Antwort zu gelangen, bereitet die Autorin die bisherigen Erkenntnisse über Internationalisierungsstrategien und die Erfolgsfaktorenforschung auf und führt im Rahmen ihrer Erfolgsfaktorenstudie eine standardisierte Befragung unter deutschen Unternehmen mit China-Engagement durch. Auf Basis der erhobenen Daten nimmt die Verfasserin eine vergleichende Bewertung von Internationalisierungsstrategien für die VR China vor und extrahiert die jeweils relevanten Erfolgsfaktoren. Hieraus resultiert eine Entscheidungshilfe, die der Unternehmenspraxis die Auswahl und Ausgestaltung einer adäquaten China-Strategie ermöglicht.
About the Author: Die Autorin: Angelika Hilger, geboren 1968, studierte von 1988-1994 Wirtschaftswissenschaften an der Universität Hohenheim, Stuttgart, und an der Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP). 1995-2000 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl für Absatzwirtschaft der Universität Hohenheim und Dozentin für Marketing an der Berufsakademie Stuttgart. Lehr- und Forschungsaufenthalte in der VR China, Rußland und den USA. Abschluß der Promotion an der Universität Hohenheim im Sommer 2000.
