Las relaciones interdisciplinarias en el área de Ciencias Naturales constituyen una necesidad en la enseñanza preuniversitaria y aún existen insuficiencias en la utilización de vías y métodos por los docentes para el establecimiento de las mismas. Por ello, para dar cumplimiento al objetivo de la investigación y solucionar el problema científico, se ofrece como resultado investigativo una estrategia metodológica elaborada para la preparación de los docentes que imparten las asignaturas del área de Ciencias Naturales en décimo grado. La estrategia se estructuró, a partir de un diagnóstico, en etapas y sus acciones. Se determinaron asimismo, dimensiones e indicadores que permiten evaluar la preparación de los docentes para establecer las relaciones interdisciplinarias. En el proceso investigativo se utilizaron métodos y técnicas tanto del nivel teórico como empírico: el histórico- lógico, el analítico-sintético, el inductivo-deductivo, la observación, la entrevista, la encuesta, el análisis documental. La evaluación de la estrategia metodológica mediante un pre experimento permitió constatar su efectividad en la preparación de los docentes.
