About the Author: Liliana Avelar-Sosa has a PhD in Engineering Sciences. She is a National Researcher level 1 recognized by National Council of Science and Technology in Mexico and expert in logistics and supply chain aspects applied to manufacturing companies. She has experience in maquiladora industry.
Jorge Luis Garcia-Alcaraz has a PhD in Innovation in Product Engineering and Industrial Process and a Post doctorate in manufacturing process. He is a National Researcher level 2 recognized by National Council of Science and Technology in Mexico, expert in lean manufacturing methodologies and advanced manufacturing technologies. He has 14 years of experience in manufacturing industry.
Aide Aracely Maldonado-Macias has a Ph. D. in Industrial Engineering Sciences. She has 15 years of experience as a full time professor-researcher at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juarez. Moreover, she has worked as a manufacturing engineer in maquiladora industry and continues doing research with this industry. She is an expert in Ergonomics design and evaluation and currently she is the Secretary for the Mexican Ergonomic Association.
