This book covers the bioethanol fuels in electric cars and other products. Topics include bioethanol fuel-based biohydrogen fuel production, bioethanol fuel-based bioelectricity production, bioethanol fuel-based biochemical and biohydrocarbon production, and the development of bioethanol sensors.
Utilization of Bioethanol Fuels: Electric Cars, Sensors, and Other Products, is the sixth volume in the Handbook of Bioethanol Fuels: Production and Utilization. The first section of this volume focuses on an analysis of bioethanol fuel-based biohydrogen fuel production, bioethanol fuel-based bioelectricity production, bioethanol fuel-based biochemical and biohydrocarbon production, and development of bioethanol sensors. This book also discusses direct bioethanol fuel cells, and their application in electric cars, bioethanol fuel electrooxidation, catalysts for bioethanol fuel oxidation, and nanotechnology applications in fuel cells. The authors also include case studies on bioethanol fuel-based biochemical and biohydrocarbon production in the fourth section and nanosensors, ZnO-based nanosensors, and nO2-based nanosensors for the final section. The book also cover speciifc examples of bioethanol applications and technologies from a country-based perspective, examples include Brazil, the US, Europe, and China. This book is intended for students, researchers, engineers, biotechnicians, biochemist and chemical engineers working on the production of bioethanol fuels.
