Jean-Paul Sartre, war der nicht Philosoph? Psychoanalyse - die ist doch von Sigmund Freud. Einige mag das wundern. Obwohl ein Psychologe doch weiß, dass seine Wissenschaft untrennbar in der Philosophie wurzelt. Er weiß, dass es zu einer Psychologie als Wissenschaft gekommen ist, weil seit jeher Menschen sich Fragen wie folgende gestellt haben: Wer sind wir? Woher kommen wir? Wohin gehen wir? Warum tun wir dies und jenes? Dennoch: Jean-Paul Sartre als Psychologe? Nun gut, gewissermaßen sind alle Philosophen zum Teil auch Psychologen. Aber hat er wirklich etwas Wichtiges zur Psychologie beigetragen? Etwas, das auch von praktischem Wert und Nutzen ist? Die Antwort lautet: Ja. Aber warum erfährt man davon so gut wie gar nichts? Warum gibt es kaum etwas darüber zu lesen, wird nur ganz selten etwas darüber gelehrt? Woran mag das liegen? Nun, zum einen wohl einmal daran, dass Jean-Paul Sartre in der breiten Öffentlichkeit zu allererst als Dramatiker bekannt ist. Und zwar als Dramatiker, dessen Werke auf den ersten Blick einen ziemlich düsteren und hoffnungslosen Eindruck hinterlassen. Ich denke dabei zum Beispiel an "Tote ohne Begräbnis", "Die schmutzigen Hände" oder seinen Film "Das Spiel ist aus". Alleine vom Titel her klingen sie nicht gerade besonders erbaulich. Manch einem mag es dabei die Lust nehmen, sich mit der dahinterstehenden Philosophie zu beschäftigen, ohne die jedoch diese Dramen eigentlich nur sehr schwer verständlich sind. Zum zweiten mag es daran liegen, dass der Existentialismus besonders während der Nachkriegszeit als eine Lebenseinstellung missbraucht worden ist, die es angeblich dem Einzelnen gestattet, sein Leben unabhängig von allen Anderen und frei von jeglicher Ver
