Fachhochschule Schmalkalden, Veranstaltung: Multimedia-Marketing, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Problemstellung dieser Arbeit besteht darin, sich mit den Fragen zu beschäftigen, welche Erfahrungen Mitglieder im sozialen Netzwerk Facebook bereits mit Facebook-Commerce gemacht haben und wie existente Lösungen auf dem Markt im Bezug auf elektronischen Handel bei Facebook aussehen. Um sich dem Thema zu nähern, wird zunächst kurz die Durchsetzung von Social Software erläutert. Das folgende Kapitel beschäftigt sich mit ECommerce in seinen Ansätzen. Es sollen die größten Mehrwerte herausgearbeitet werden, die auf ein soziales Netzwerk übertragbar sein könnten. Darüber hinaus soll Social Commerce als konkrete Ausprägung von Electronic Commerce und Grundlage für Commerce auf Facebook eingeführt werden. Darauf aufbauend werden die jüngste Geschichte von Facebook Inc., sowie sein Geschäftsmodell dargestellt und das Thema mit einer kritischen Betrachtung der Potentiale, Risiken und vor allem der Kritik am Unternehmen abgeschlossen. Im Zusammenhang mit dieser Arbeit hat der Verfasser eine Online-Befragung mit 100 Teilnehmern durchgeführt und ihnen zehn Fragen zum Thema Online Shopping auf Facebook gestellt. Die Umfrageergebnisse werden im Rahmen dieser Bachelorarbeit ausgewertet und die Erkenntnisse zusammengefasst dargestellt. Über die Themen E-Commerce und Facebook sowie mit den Erkenntnissen aus der Befragung führt die Bachelorarbeit zu den verschiedenen Dimensionen des Facebook-Commerce. Dabei werden die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten, die Facebook zu diesem Thema bietet, eine besondere Rolle spielen. Von den verschiedenen Dimensionen ausgehend, wird die facebookinterne Variante "Facebook Stores" tiefgreifender behandelt. Darüber hinaus sollen auf dem Markt erhältliche Lösungen untersucht und verglichen werden.
