About the Book

This is the first book of Fargo and Friends. Follow the adventures of Fargo and his friends Niki, Sam the Siamese cat, You will get to meet Baracus the Brahma Bull and his son Big Red. Find out what Baracus does for fun and Big Red joins in on the fun. Fargo was a German shepherd mix mostly black in color with brown around his paws. He had a smallish head but a very stout/husky chest area. Fargo ruled the street that he lived on. There were 6-8 other dogs that lived on that mile long street. They all knew that Fargo was the top dog on that street. Fargo's owner was a boy by the name of Erick. Erick's father brought Fargo home when Erick was about 10 years old and Fargo was just a puppy. Fargo had a habit of going on these little journeys around town on a monthly basis. He would be gone at most a couple of days at a time and would always return home. Fargo hated taking baths, Erick would have to chase him down or just take the water hose and spray him hoping to get some of the smell off him. They were the best of friends. Erick would take Fargo with him when he would go see his friends several blocks away. Erick would hop on his bike or go for a walk and Fargo would be right there next to him. Erick's best buddy was Paul who had an Alaskan Husky German Shepard mix named Niki. Fargo and Niki hit it off right away. Their first meeting went like this. "Fargo said" How are you doing my name is Fargo and I am German Shepard mix. What is your name and what kind of dog are you." "My name is Niki" and I am a German Shepard Alaskan Husky mix." "So what's up with your tail "Fargo asked" "Oh that is a Husky thing it curls permanently "Niki replied." "That's cool "Fargo said." "So what do you like to do "Niki asked?" "Well Fargo said" I like to eat, sleep, pass gas and chase cats." "Wow me to "Niki replied" we have so much in common. We are both German Shepherd mix we love to eat, sleep, pass gas and we both like to chase cats." "Niki said" the funniest thing I like to do is be next to my owner and let one go then slowly walk away and look back at him gagging and blaming it on his younger brother." "Niki said"One time when they let me in the house and I had laid down next to Paul's father and let one go Paul's Mom at first blamed Paul's dad but then I made the fatal mistake of getting up and walking by her and one just accidentally squeaked out." "What do you do once you catch a cat "Niki asked?" "I have never caught one either "Fargo said" besides I would never hurt one I just like chasing them. I believe strongly in the Cat and Dog Chase Code." "Yeah me to "Niki replied" as he was saying the Cat and Dog Chase Code. "No harm to cats, chase for fun only. No chasing or harming kittens." "However, there is one Siamese cat that lives around the corner from me. If I ever catch him, I will turn him inside out "Fargo said." "Oh man that is an ugly thought Niki said" as he was thinking about a cat turned inside out. "You want to go chase some cats "Niki asked" I know where there are two close by one for you and one for me. I chase them all the time one is called Bullet and the other is named Speed, I will let you figure out why they are called that once we find them." "Let's go" Fargo said." So off they went to have a little fun. Bullet and Speed were hanging out just where Niki thought they would be, at the fish factory. "Bullet looked and said" run it is Niki and he brought an ugly friend." "Wait a minute "Speed said" as he was putting on his cross trainers. "Will you hurry up Niki said we don't have all day." "Ok I am ready now "Speed said" and took off running. Fargo took off after Speed and found out why they called him speed. When the chase was over and of course they never caught the cats "Fargo said to Niki" that was just plain fun. Boy that Speed is fast and shifty." "It is good to be a dog "Niki said."
