Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich Design (Industrie, Grafik, Mode), Note: 1,3, Hochschule Darmstadt, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Ziel dieser Seminararbeit ist es, den Problemen der Fast Fashion Industrie auf den Grund zu gehen, aber auch gleichzeitig nach Lösungsansätzen und Alternativen zu suchen. Es wird zum einen die Produktion in den Herstellungsländern angeschaut, wobei hauptsächlich auf Bangladesch Bezug genommen wird. Neben den Auswirkungen auf den Menschen und die Umwelt wird dann noch der spannende Vergleich von billigen und teuren Markenklamotten in der Herstellung betrachtet. Danach geht es zurück nach Deutschland, wo der Kauf und Konsum näher beleuchtet sowie die Gründe und ebenso die Auswirkungen untersucht werden. Am Ende wird dann nach Alternativen zur Fast Fashion Industrie gesucht und gute Siegel vorgestellt. Kleider machen Leute, diesen Spruch kennt sicher jeder. Aber was macht Kleidung mit den Leuten? Was macht sie mit denen, die sie herstellen und mit denen, die sie tragen? Immer wieder wird in den Medien von den Zuständen bei der Herstellung unserer Kleidung in den Entwicklungsländern berichtet. Dokumentationen wie der Markencheck auf ARD über die Modeketten H&M, Kik und C&A schauten hinter die Kulissen. Greenpeace versucht immer und immer wieder durch Kampagnen und Werbung die Zustände in den Vordergrund zu rücken. Für viel Aufsehen hat 2013 der Einsturz des Rana-Plazas-Gebäudes gesorgt, einer Textilfabrik in Bangladesch, wobei über 1000 Menschen gestorben sind. Doch diese Aufmerksamkeit ist nur von kurzer Dauer und gerät leicht in Vergessenheit. Stattdessen wird immer mehr und immer billiger produziert, immer mehr Werbung gemacht und der Verbraucher wird dazu angeregt, massenhaft neue Kleidung zu konsumieren. Dieses Phänomen wird Fast-Fashion Industrie genannt. Sie hat umfangreiche und negative Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt und auf den Menschen und genau deshalb ist dieses Thema wichtig.
