This book was written to share the favorite recipes from the wonderful days of enjoying the beach lifestyle which includes friends sharing recipes, sharing a meal and sharing a great beach experience. A bi-product of the good times is a Collection of Favorite Recipes from the Days at the Beach Condominium.Life and Times changed from the days of creating menus and agendas for healthy, teenager favorites, practical, cost effective (economical), easy and quick to prepare foods that appeal to the taste buds of a teenager, to an Adult Life at the Beach. Still practical, cost effective and easy to prepare meals are on the schedule; however, there is more focus on healthy and creative cooking and festive servings on the lanai. A new motivation is healthy air at the beach and healthy food on the table.As time goes by, I have built upon and enumerated the Step by Step instructions and acquired tricks to make foods even healthier for reducing cholesterol and fat in the diet. Daily meal planning involves eating less red meat and eating more fish, chicken and vegetables.Through the adaptation from tastings of others, I am still learning and creating. As friends participate in concocting new food choices, we continue to want to share our recipes. Creating a book for all to enjoy is the perfect solution to sharing with all the interested people.
About the Author: Roberta Shauger worked in the information technology arena for over 35 years, supporting manufacturing and health care businesses. She has direct experience integrating applications both within an enterprise and between enterprises, electronic data exchange, project management for ERP system implementation and developing appropriate controls, policies and procedures for regulatory compliance. She was the lead person to review strategic relevancy of computer systems, definition of operational and performance issues and recommendations to reduce costs, improve communications and increase efficiencies of the information systems throughout an organization. Ms. Shauger was active in the Data Processing Managers Association and served on the board of the local American Production and Inventory Control Society. To start a new chapter in the business world, today Roberta provides consulting services for data integration. This venture provided a pathway from a training and consulting focus to also include the writing of books and helping others to write and publish books. This book was seeded by the successful first cookbook that Ms Shauger wrote as a test pilot for book publication.
