About the Book

Brian Dalton thought he was going to survive his genius with only a resentful childhood, but when his parents are murdered in front of him, his life takes an odd change for the worse. Now, obsessed with Death, Brian is pulled into the CIA who's more than willing to use his abilities to their advantage in a massive mole hunt. Brian, however, has other plans as he uses his mental prowess and newfound skills to commit a string of murders against his own personal enemies. But no one's perfect, Brian realizes, as he taunts an up-and-coming FBI agent's morals who starts to close the noose around the killings. So, disappearing under his CIA cover name Opus Wright, Brian temporarily escapes as his superiors are pulled into the mix while he struggles to stay one step ahead of everyone in a game he's still learning. With his plans on the verge of backfiring, he wonders if his fascination with Death will prove to be his savior or his downfall. This is a prequel story to the Jeremiah Stone: Stone Vengeance series.
About the Author: S Scott Twigg started writing at the age of seventeen and quickly discovered his passion for exploring the unknown through pen and paper. His first attempt started as a 42-page character profile which expanded into a full-fledged story line. This initial dabbling was worked and reworked over a twenty year time frame eventually evolving into a series of not one, but nine books. Since writing those nine books, he decided to try his hand at a more classic trilogy, which has become Jeremiah Stone. The story surrounding Jeremiah Stone takes the theme from the Bible's Book of Job and places it in a world where angels and demons exist alongside mortals. The modern day adventure series follows the choices a man makes in life if he were given a single gift from both God and the Devil. Imagine the possibilities of what those two gifts could be. In addition to these series, S Scott Twigg has written a romance novel, two sci-fi adventure stories named Dream Savior and The Burden of Immortality, and a coffee table book called Determination containing several short stories and life-lesson snippets. Jeremiah Stone, Limbus, Azazel, and Beginnings are the first of his novels to be published. S. Scott Twigg is a native of Washington State, where he is married and has one son.
