About the Book

In this book "Field Research Strategies" there are suitable research strategies that should be undertaken by a researcher in doing any scientific research. This book has been written with the strong aim of helping geographers and alike in getting in-depth understanding and improving their knowledge and skills in all issues of research approaches. This book also is developed through maximization of simplification of basic concepts about aspects of Research; thus makes its content easily accessible to all geographers (Researcher) and students in secondary schools, high schools and colleges. The two terms, research and scientific method, are closely related to research methods and techniques, although they may vary considerably from one science to another. Scientific method is the pursuits of truth as determined by logical considerations. Research is the science as other branches of sciences in which it deploys the scientific methods and procedures. The author is confident that this book will be an invaluable asset for schools, colleges and universities and that students as well as teachers and lecturers will find it useful in making the teaching and learning process easier, pleasant and more fruitful. The author of this book (Frank Philemon) is an educator and teacher (Mwalimu) of geography subject at Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in Tanzania. He is also the author of other four books - "Photograph Reading and Interpretation", "Human population and Development" "A Comprehensive Study of Meteorology and Climatology" and "Human and Economic Geography".
About the Author: Mwl. Frank Philemon graduated in 2012 at The University of Dodoma (UDOM), where he was Pursuing Bachelor of Education in Policy Planning and Management (BED-PPM). He has taught several schools in Tanzania including Teachers college, where he taught geography and life skills. He is an avid reader and writer of articles in social networks and magazines. Mainly he wrote about Entrepreneurship, Geography and other Managerial skills. He brought from peasant and single parent family. Only his mother who was responsible for bring up from all level of education, starting from primary school, secondary school up to the university. The author of this book (Frank Philemon) is currently an educator and teacher (Mwalimu) of geography subject at Ministry of Education, Science and Education. He is also the author of other four-"Photograph Reading and Interpretation", "Human population and Development" "A Comprehensive Study of Meteorology and Climatology" and "Human and Economic Geography".
