Norberto Bobbio (1909-2004) e stato uno dei piu influenti filosofi del diritto nel mondo latino del Novecento, nonche la coscienza civile e laica dell'Italia repubblicana. La sua evoluzione culturale inizia con le due tesi di laurea che difese poco piu che ventenne: nel 1931 si laureo in filosofia del diritto (Filosofia e dogmatica del diritto) e nel 1933 in filosofia teoretica (La fenomenologia di Husserl), sempre nell'Universita di Torino. I due testi sono rimasti inediti sino alla presente edizione. La filosofia del diritto era destinata a divenire il centro della sua ricerca per tutta la vita, dapprima in opposizione al positivismo giuridico, poi dal 1949 accettando criticamente la teoria di Hans Kelsen. Invece l'interesse filosofico per Husserl segno una sua prima e fortunata fase, presto abbandonata. Norberto Bobbio (1909-2004) war einer der einflussreichsten Rechtsphilosophen der romanischen Welt im 20. Jahrhundert; er galt als das burgerliche und weltliche Gewissen des republikanischen Italien. Am Beginn seiner intellektuellen Entwicklung standen zwei Dissertationen, die er in seinen fruhen Zwanzigern verteidigte: 1931 promovierte er in Rechtsphilosophie (uber Philosophie und Dogmatik des Rechts) und 1933 in Theoretischer Philosophie (zur Phanomenologie von Husserl), jeweils an der Universitat Turin. Die beiden bisher unveroffentlicht gebliebenen Arbeiten werden hier erstmals vorgelegt. Die Rechtsphilosophie sollte den Schwerpunkt seiner lebenslangen Forschung bilden: zunachst in Opposition zum Rechtspositivismus, dann ab 1949 in kritischer Auseinandersetzung mit der Rechtstheorie Hans Kelsens. Dagegen markiert seine philosophische Beschaftigung mit Husserl eine fruhe Phase theoretischer Reflexion, die er bald wieder aufgeben sollte.
