About the Author:

Jing Bian teaches in School of Law & Criminology, Greenwich University. She has published widely on the comparative financial regulation aspect as well as China's related issues. Her book "China's Securities Market: Towards Efficient Regulation" was published in January 2014 by Routledge (London). Her edited 4 volume book titled "Financial Regulation in China", which covers the entire Chinese financial system, will be published by Routledge (London).

Jing Bian has a track record with research and practical projects for international institutions as well as international transactions. She frequently speaks at academic conferences and industry summits. She has solid practical and commercial experiences. Previously, she held a number of roles in financial institutions, for instance, Head of the Chinese Market for a leading Fintech company located in the City of London; also, she has cross jurisdiction experiences in Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, and the UK.

Hongqing Teng is Professor of Law and Assistant Dean at South China University of Technology School of Law, Guangzhou City, P.R.China. He is Director of Law and AI Research Center and Deputy Director of Assessment and Research Center for Rule of Law, Also, he works as Legalization Expert certified by Standing Committee of Guangdong Provincial People's Congress and Legal Counsel authorized by People's Government of Guangzhou.

Hongqing Teng received Ph.D. in law at Wuhan University in 2006 and LL.M. at Washington College of Law, American University (U.S.A.), in 2008. He was Visiting Professor at National Law University (India, 2009), Guest Researcher at Norwegian Centre for Human Rights (Norway, 2014) and Visiting Professor at Chinese University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law (H.K. 2015). He is Research Fellow of Chinese and Comparative Law Center at University of Surrey School of Law (U.K.).
Professor Teng is a scholar of Constitutional Law and Administrative Law. He has published two monographs including National Emergency Power and Human rights in Crisis (People Press,2008) and Emergency Constitution (Law Press,2018). He chief-edited three books and co-authored twenty books so far. He also published 60 articles in both English and Chinese by main legal journals.
