About the Author: Dr. Ali Saeedi gained his B.A and M.A in Accounting and Finance at Imam Sadiq University, Tehran, Iran, 1996-2000 and his Ph.D. in Business Management with a minor in Finance, Science & Research Branch at Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran, 2002-2007. Since 2013, he has been Vice Chairman of the Board and Deputy for Supervision on Financial Institutions of Securities & Exchange Organization (SEO: Iran Capital Market Regulator). In addition, he is an Associate Professor and Faculty Member of Islamic Azad University, Tehran North Branch, since 2003.
Meysam Hamedi gained his B.A and M.A in Finance from Imam Sadiq University, Tehran, Iran, 2002-2008 and is currently a Ph.D student in Financial Management with a minor in Financial Law, Science & Research Branch at Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran. Since early 2017, he has been director of Financial Markets and Instruments Group of Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran (the SEO).
They have both dealt with financial literacy issues for more than 4 years through conducting broad research among member countries of COMCEC Capital Market Regulators Forum (an OIC affiliate forum).
